Community Health Needs Assessment

Gibson General Hospital works with the Indiana Rural Health Association to conduct a community health needs assessment (CHNA).

By surveying community residents, the CHNA helps to describe the health status of the population, identify areas for health improvement and, determine factors that contribute to health issues, and identify assets and resources that can be mobilized to address public health improvement.

CHNAs will be conducted every three years to update information and provide our community with up-to-date data to evaluate progress made towards identified health priorities and for the selection of new ones.
